The fashion world is buzzing with rumors that Mark Badgley and James Mischka, the talented duo behind Badgley Mischka, are in talks with HSN to produce a lifestyle collection for the TV shopping network. Though no further details about the line have surfaced, the collection could reportedly launch as early as this fall.
If this comes to fruition, it could be a wise move for both parties: the high-end Badgley Mischka could capitalize on a less expensive market in a time when people aren’t willing to spend on luxury items, and a collaboration with the line could open the door to the high-end fashion world for HSN.
While Molly Sims is launching a fashion jewelry line for the network in November and the network currently features collections by Loulou de la Falaise, Randolph Duke, and Tina Knowles, Badgley Mischka would be the biggest name on HSN’s roster.
