Flake Blake Lively is the cover girl for the November issue of Nylon, her second cover for the mag. Shot by Matthew Frost, we actually really like the spread (with the exception of the pic where she’s eating her hair – that one’s not so great). The interview, on the other hand, is a different story.
Check out some of the ditzy highlights, below:
On her sense of humor:
├óΓé¼┼ôI swipe my friends with, like, my phone or something, – I slide it in their butts. Like in middle school! You say ├óΓé¼╦£Visa! Mastercard!├óΓé¼Γäó Just to give somebody a jump. I├óΓé¼Γäóm a prankster.├óΓé¼┬¥
On riding elephants on her recent vacation to Thailand, India and the Maldives:
“Elephants are the most incredible creatures I’ve ever been around. You’re sitting in this water that they poop in, and somehow it’s not gross. You’re scrubbing the bottom of their feet and behind their ears…”
On her empathetic nature:
“I feel a lot. I get really bad stomachaches all the time. So I went to a doctor, and he said, ‘You’re a feeler.’ I take on people’s pain a little too much.”
On the similarities between her Gossip Girl character, Serena, and herself:
“I dress just like Serena! I own half her wardrobe, so it├óΓé¼Γäós far too similar to the way I dress. I feel ridiculous at times with her ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ because I├óΓé¼Γäóm, you know, killing someone or marrying someone, but I look like me. I├óΓé¼Γäóm like, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, this is absurd.├óΓé¼Γäó”
Oh man. Where do we begin? First of all, Blake, please don’t do the credit card thing anymore. That’s something you graduate from when you hit high school. Secondly, if you really feel the need violate your friends’ cracks, please don’t broadcast it via national media outlet.
We don’t even know what kind of diagnosis “you’re a feeler,” is, but we’re pretty sure it’s not that’s not a real thing. Also, maybe don’t say that the story lines on the show that made you are “absurd.”
And poo water is always gross.
Her publicist must be thrilled!
