Most supermodels don’t stay in high demand after they begin to age and start getting replaced by younger models.
So what’s a girl to do for a career then? Well, many are turning to designing.
And Eva Herzigova has now become the second supermodel to create a collection for the French label, Etam.
Supermodel Natalia Vodianova previously created a lingerie collection for Etam last year.
As for Eva, the former Wonderbra model has designed a ready-to-wear line titled Eva Herzigova Pour 1.2.3. The collection features jeans, skirts, trench coats, evening dressing and more. Says Eva:
“It has been totally hands-on, no one telling me what to do and designing whatever crossed my mind. Having done my own clothes from when I was young in the Czech Republic, I know how things are assembled and think of each detail. I am a perfectionist and I demand a lot, and I wanted something that is affordable but also luxurious.”
Cheap but looks expensive? We like that idea.
