The eccentric singer attended last night’s Costume Institute Gala in an Alexander Wang for Gap gown.

But unfortunately, she failed to impress.

The gold netting over the strapless, black catsuit is just too much.

And her fingers covered in gold glitter? Sometimes less is more ‘bb!

But on a positive note, M.I.A. will also be donating her gown via a silent auction with proceeds going to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in support of The Costume Institute Gala Benefit.
