Jimmy Choo‘s president Tamara Mellon is finally talking about the unfortunate collaboration between the luxury shoe brand and Uggs.
She told W magazine:
“Uggs were my guilty pleasure until I was on a flight to London and the airline staff said, ├óΓé¼╦£We├óΓé¼Γäóre all so excited to see what shoes you├óΓé¼Γäóre wearing!├óΓé¼Γäó I had Uggs on. So now we├óΓé¼Γäóve done a collaboration where I took traditional Uggs and decorated them with the DNA of Jimmy Choo ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ animal prints and studs.”
OK, we’ve seen plenty of regular Jimmy Choos and aside from the occasional bad design they’re cute.
The ChUggs? Not so much.
