Topshop is following Gap‘s footsteps and getting eco-friendly with their denim.
The UK retailer collaborated with Bionic Yarn, which is backed by N.E.R.D’s Pharrell Williams, on a 3 piece collection of sustainable denim made from plastic bottle fibers.
Amazing!
Pharrell says of the fabric: “the coolest thing about Bionic Yarn is that the fabric is actually superior to the average fabric├óΓé¼┬ªand the pieces look so good.”
All three pieces launched on Monday and range in price from $70 to $100.
Hopefully this collab will lead to others, especially since there’s so many bottles thrown away each year.
