Lennon's Suit Gets Less Than Expected At Auction

The seller of John Lennon‘s suit didn’t get nearly as much as they hoped.

The Ted Lapidus suit and Imagine jacket originally sold for $120,000 in 2005, but only managed to get half of that on New Years Day.

The white Abbey Road suit ended up selling for $46,000 while the brown velvet, fleur-de-lys-embroidered blazer brought in $18,000.

Ouch.
