Celebrity Credit Card Scamming Salon Owner Faces 30 Months In Jail

The Beverly Hills salon owner who swiped credit card information from A-listers like Jennifer Aniston and Cher will learn her fate this week.

Maria Hashemipour already plead guilty to fraud in January and the US Attorney’s Office wants her to be thrown in jail for 30 months. The jail sentence would also come with two years of supervised release and paying 511,312.26 in restitution.

Sounds like she’s getting off relatively easy for racking up over $800,000 in fraudulent charges in five years.
