Designer Douglas Hannant has started a cat fight with Jason Wu.
Hannant quipped after seeing a black dress with a houndstooth panel from Wu’s pre-fall 2012 collection:
“If I knew that Jason Wu liked my dress so much, I would have sold it to him.”
Me-ow!
The dress Dougie’s referring to is from his own A/W 2011 collection, but after comparing the two we think he’s grasping at straws.
Hannant’s frock isn’t exactly what we’d call an original design, so there’s really no need to get snippy.
