Receiving advice from prominent fashionistas is always a good sign!
While Katie Holmes preps for her New York Fashion Week debut, Nanette Lepore and Rebecca Minkoff offered some kind words of encouragement.
Minkoff advised Katie to savor the moment:
“I’d say to take it slowly. And these early moments are so exciting, so savor every bit of them. It goes by really fast. You get two minutes to enjoy your fashion show. And it’s right before the models go out and you see them all in their last looks. That’s the best part, so take in that moment.”
Lepore kept it short and sweet, saying:
“Keep it small. And make it in New York City.”
We’re sure Miz Holmes will do just fine considering how well she’s handled her divorce from Tom Cruise. Not to mention all the additional press!
Keep doing your thing Katie. We just know you’re going to shine!
