A plastic surgeon in Chicago, Anil Shah MD has been practicing with Botox, but not for the obvious wrinkle-zapping reasons, instead, the doc uses the substance as an acne treatment.
That sounds promising!
The doctor said, “Botox definitely clears up acne,” by preventing the production of sebum which stops the bacteria that causes pimples.
Anil is currently the only medic that has published this study, which demonstrates that Botox lowers the skin’s oil production and decreases pore sizes with just one injection.
Nice!
Now Kelly Ripa and Kelly Rutherford have a better reason to get Botox, aside from their kids driving them nuts!
