Sarah Jessica Parker Would Like You To Know She's Not A Style Icon

She could have fooled us!
Sarah Jessica Parker may have played the super stylish Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, but believe it or not, they don’t have a passion for fashion in common!
The actress talked about being a style icon, saying:

“It├óΓé¼Γäós not an identity that I ├óΓé¼┬ª connect to. I├óΓé¼Γäóm grateful if anyone says anything kind, and if they say something less kind, I take that as a part of anyone talking about you at all. It├óΓé¼Γäós not how I think of myself and I think it├óΓé¼Γäós probably the healthier approach. I love beautiful things, and I├óΓé¼Γäóm privileged to borrow a beautiful dress. I feel really lucky and I genuinely enjoy it. I feel like [fashion] has a proper place in my life. It├óΓé¼Γäós just not a reality ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ not when you have three kids and you go to the market and there are hungry people at home. You have a limited time to do it. There├óΓé¼Γäós just no time to let vanity enter into that.”

It’s understandable, but so hard to digest! SJP is synonymous with Carrie in the minds of people worldwide!
We’ll just have to get over it and accept that sometimes she’ll look less than her best.
