…as long as the other person is wearing a condom!
The San Francisco County Jail’s San Bruno lockup have installed 16 condom machines for the 750 prisoners.
Ha!
Sex among inmates is technically illegal, but as an extension of the jail’s safe-sex program, the condom machines were recently installed anyway. Apparently, many inmates have sex despite the rules. Who would have thought?
“If (providing condoms) saves one or two lives, it’s worth it,” said Kate Monico Klein, who is directing the program for the city’s Public Health Department.
We agree. Obviously the inmates are having sex, and it’s better to be safe than sorry, especially since many inmates are reintegrated back into the real world. Nobody wants an ex-con walking around with an STD!
