Jillian Michaels Criticizes LA Times For Calling Her a Fraud
If you think you’ve seen Jillian Michaels get angry on Biggest Loser, think again.
The LA Times recently wrote an op-ed piece calling Jillian “an actress playing the role of fitness trainer.” Writer and certifiied health expert James S. Fell also said that Michaels’ routines are shoddy and her routines unsafe.
Michaels is not happy about these allegations.

“Apparently I’m an actress. Shame on the Los Angeles Times for saying I’m a fraud and not a trainer. I currently own two certifications, one of which doesn’t expire. I developed my own continuing education program for trainers, with sports medicine doctors. I’ve been a trainer since I was 17-years old for 19 years.”

She also said she’s not ruling out legal action, which she isn’t totally unfamiliar with, as she has been sued for products that she endorses that the plaintiffs claim are dangerous/ineffective.
We hope the allegations aren’t true! Jillian can be harsh on Biggest Loser, but she’s definitely helped the contestants on the show.
