As a part of breast cancer awareness month, a non-profit has been selling $4 rubber bracelets to that say “I (heart) boobies,” and school administrators are not happy about it. They feel that the word “boobies” in inappropriate for kids.
The non-profit, Keep A Breast Foundation’s, idea for the bracelet is that kids would be more interested in buying the bracelet if it pushed the envelop a little bit. And they were correct — they├óΓé¼Γäóve sold 2 million.
Some schools are ordering students to wear the bracelets inside out, and others have banned them.
We think everyone should be allowed to wear them! Of course they’re a little edgy, but that’s what makes them so effective!
