ESPN 3D sounds like an awesome idea, but the network is half way through the trial run and is not seeing any positive results.

“We’re still not sure what makes sense for 3DTV and we don’t yet see a proven ROI,” said Jonathan Pannaman, ESPN Senior Director of Technology.
