The idea of obese people losing weight is great until somebody gets hurt — which is exactly what happened on ABC├óΓé¼Γäós new show Obese.
25-year-old contestant LaRhonda Darby was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after reaching dangerous levels of dehydration. Fortunately, after she was give adequate fluids she was sent home.
According to sources, Darby had been taking a prescription diuretic, which could have contributed to her dehydration.
We’re glad she’s alright, and we HOPE that ABC is taking every precaution to make sure the contestants are losing wait SAFELY!
