Showtime Creating Docuseries About San Francisco Giants

Showtime and MLB are partnering up to create a docuseries about the San Francisco Giants.

The series will follow the players and families, as well as the team’s management. Both Showtime and MLB are pretty excited about it.

“It’s been a long haul putting this show together,” said David Nevins, President of Entertainment at Showtime.

He added that Showtime won’t have total control over the content:

“Obviously they have some control. But I think MLB is interested in really telling an honest story. I want it to feel like it fits with our dramatic shows.”

Nevins produced Friday Night LIghts, so this series is destined for greatness!!
