OMG….WHY??
A high school in Memphis is currently flipping their shit — 90 students (11% of the student population) were pregnant sometime this school year.
While this number is shocking, it’s actually not out of the ordinary for Memphis, who’s teen pregnancy rate is somewhere between 15 and 25%.
As a result, the city is launching a campaign to stop this trend — including advertisements and other mediums to convey the message to girls to ├óΓé¼┼ôsay no├óΓé¼┬¥ or ├óΓé¼┼ôuse protection.├óΓé¼┬¥
This is shocking — teens do not need to be getting pregnant! Educating students about safe sex needs to be a priority in every school district!
