Well, this is a step backwards!
Back in November, we were happy to hear that fruit-flavored, intensely-caffeinated energy drink/alcoholic beverage Four Loko had been de-caffeinated, and had become at least a little bit less dangerous.
Looks like Colt 45 is ready to pick up some of Four Loko’s slack, because their new fruit-flavored drink Colt 45 Blast contains twice as much alcohol as the original version of Colt 45! (12% alcohol vs. 5.61%)
Is it just us, or was there MORE THAN ENOUGH alcohol in Colt 45 already???
Aside from the fruit flavor, this drink is going to be pret-ty appealing to the younger crowd due to Snoop Dogg‘s involvement as a promoter of the drink.
Not cool, Snoop. You KNOW this drink is going to become a problem with young folks!
Now taking bets: How long before we hear our first news story about a Colt 45 Blast-related incident…
