Apparently when you win the Stanley Cup, dropping over $150 grand at a bar is normal!
The team hit up the Shrine nightclub at the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut to celebrate their victory.
Their bar tab came out to a wacked out $156,679.74!!
Here’s an abbreviated list of what they ordered:
— 136 Bud Lights
— 3 Bottles of Captain Morgan ($300 each)
— 35 Jager Bombs ($525 total)
— 9 bottles of Goose MG ($600 each)
— Bottle of Johnny Walker Black for $350
Apparently the team didn├óΓé¼Γäót initially plan on getting totally smashed — it just happened.
Said Bruins’ Zdeno Chara:
“That was our first and only night we had as a team together. We went out to Foxwoods to have a normal good time, nothing crazy. We started the night bowling and having some snacks, then we moved to the bar and basically had a night out.”
The thing we LOVE most about this story: There was an obligatory $24,869.80 tip given to the server.
