NYC Has A Higher Life Expectancy Than Pretty Much Anywhere Else

Take a long, deep, breath, NYC! You are THAT much closer to LIVING FOREVER!!

Really, though, New Yorkers’ life expectancy reaches 80.6 years, which is higher than the national rate!
Mayor Bloomberg had this to say:

“Today, newborn New Yorkers can expect to live longer, healthier lives than ever before. If you have friends and relatives that you deeply care about and they live elsewhere, on average if they move to New York City, they will live longer.”

So why is this the case? The ban on smoking?
Nope. People are attributing it to the HIV detection, protection, and treatment!
