Pfizer Says It Has The Best Hope For A Drug Against Alzheimer's

That’s a pretty bold claim!
Either way, though, any fight against the terrifying Alzheimer’s is a good one.
This does not mean, however, that other companies should back off trying to find their own alternatives. The more help the better.
Dolsten of Pfizer said this:

“This is so far the best chance the industry has for disease modification in Alzheimer’s.”

He’s referring to Pfizer’s drug, bapineuzumab, as it had far more complete and compelling data from already finished mid-stage clinical trials than Eli Lilly and Co’s solanezumab.
Also, we should totally get someone else to name these things.

Most of the drugs currently in trial are not meant to cure the disease, unfortunately. They’re meant to slow it. Either way, we’ll take all the help we can get!
Keep up the good work! Just don’t charge a stupid amount for it!
