OMG! This gives hope to everyone who has lost a pet!
While Terri Essex was on a vacation in New Mexico, her house sitter called her and told her that her cat, Harrison had escaped.
When Terri returned home she did everything she could to look for Harrison, but no luck.
This past week, three years later, Terri got a call from the Harbor Humane Society who took in a cat caught in a live trap with a few other kitties, that they had found Harrison!!
Harrison had a microchip that the Humane Society checked…and he even still had his collar on!
It appeared that Harrison had been surviving on his own for the past three years. The most amazing part, is that he had been declawed. Most declawed cats do not survive that long in the wild!
Wow! This is an amazing story!
We are so happy that Harrison finally made it back home to Terri!
