While Jack from Titanic sleeps with the fishes, Leonardo DiCaprio is trying to save them. The actor used the platform favored among celebs these days to acknowledge his disgust with the shark fin soup. He tweeted:
“Saw this last week. 357 dead sharks 4 a bowl of soup? Really?”
Leo has tweeted about about the cause before.
“Thx to all who tweeted and reposted our plea about the shark fin ban in Cali. #AB376 passed key vote thx to you!”
This sharks seem to be a big dealio to DiCaprio. It appears his pasion for the was sea creatures influenced by his ex GF Blake Lively. She appeared to have adopted his views last month when she told Jay Leno she went shark diving:
“It was scary, but it was also a really beautiful thing, because you realize when you look at your fears in the eyes, they didn’t want to bite me.”
We’re glad she got something out of that short lived relationship!
