There is a new website being launched by the Obama administration called “We the People.”
The website allows users to create petitions and, if they reach 5,000 supporters, they will be sent to the administration for review.
PETA is petition for a mandatory spay-and-neuter policy.
This would help curb the 6 to 8 million cat and dogs that are brought into shelters each year.
Half of those animals are euthanized due to lack of good homes.
