This is so sad.
Poaching is so bad in South Africa, that private game reserves are literally removing the horns from rhinoceroses so poachers will stop slaughtering them.
They say the horn is like a nail or hoof, so trimming it down doesn’t hurt the rhinos so that’s good at least.

We guess it is better to be alive with no horn, than dead.
