World's Smallest Vertebrate Is Tiny Frog

Scientists discovered the world’s smallest vertebrate├óΓé¼┬ª and it is the CUTEST little frog.
So tiny it could comfortably sit on the head of a pencil eraser… or on top of a dime.
The frog, when fully grown, is less than three-tenths of an inch long.
Crazy!
It was discovered when two researchers were on a trip in Papua New Guinea.
The frog lives mainly on the floor of the rain forest, among the moist leaves.
The little frog is important to science, one researcher said, because it helps scientists to:

“[├óΓé¼┬ª] better understand the advantages and disadvantages of extreme small size and how such extremes evolve. Fundamentally, these tiny vertebrates provide a window on the principles that constrain animal design.”

All we know is it’s crazy cute and we’d want one as a tiny pet if it wasn’t for the fact that we’d be afraid of losing it or it crawling in our ear or something.
