Newborn Colobus Monkey Gets Extra Close To Mama At Fort Wayne Children's Zoo

Since it’s October…this monkey definitely wants to snuggle and stay warm!
The first Colobus Monkey born at the Fort Wayne’s Children Zoo in 12 years is sticking close to Mama.
The babe, named Kassidy, was born all white and will grow to become black and white just like her mom, Jibini.
Native to equatorial Africa, some populations of Colobus monkeys are hunted for their exotic coats.
This little one doesn’t have to worry about that…we’re sure Mama going to protect her cutie!
