Greenville Zoo Gets A Halloween Tweet Early With Giraffe Calf

It took a year but six year old giraffe, Autumn, has delivered a baby boy!
Kiko is one of the many giraffes that are born with horns and feet first. Female giraffes also deliver standing up so it was a long drop for the little guy!
Kiko is also very special due to his unique birth. Calves are usually born in the morning but Kiko was born near midnight!
The calf’s father, Walter, was on loan from the San Diego Zoo while Autumn came from the Franklin Park Zoo and the two found love due to the zoos’ loan program.
Now the Greenville Zoo has their own giraffe!
So CUTEz! So ADORBz!!!
