A Vancouver family just got their dog back and it’s all smiles!
Cody, a four year flat coat retriever, walked off his leash in Canada and has been on the run for six months after ditching his owner’s son.
He was spotted periodically but he ran away from anyone trying to get near him.
75 volunteers searched for the pooch too. But nothing worked.
Until a husband and wife team of pet searchers, found and brought him home!
The husband and wife team used bait and traps to lure Cody, while a net was used to capture the pooch.
Cody will go through re-socialization as he relearns to walk with and without a leash.
