When Ben Roseth was diagnosed with (ALD), a rare and often fatal disease that has no cure, his strength and energy went way down.
He could barely stand, let alone go to the doctor’s office.
So his siblings decided to give him a superhero identity and named him Power Boy!
Power Boy’s three siblings also took up superhero secret identities and now the four of them are collectively known as the Fearsome Four!!!
Is that cool or what?
Ben’s mom explained how Power Boy has literally changed her son’s life.
Here’s what she said:
“Ben used to cry and scream and fight anytime we went near the local clinic. He would burst into tears at the smell of rubbing alcohol. Power Boy doesn’t fear the tests much anymore. He faces so many difficult things, and they face them together.├óΓé¼┬¥
