Include Daddy In The Baby Shower!!

It takes two to make a baby (usually), so both should get to celebrate!
Shari in Florida has a great idea for her sister’s BayBay shower and needs some help pulling it off.
She asks Perezitos.com‘s pro party planner, organizer, and all around motherhood expert Amy Malin:

“I’m throwing my sister a baby shower next month and I’d like to include her husband in the party. Do you have any fun ideas for how I can get him involved?”

YES, she does!
In fact, Amy has FIVE ideas for Shari!
Amy writes:

“Congrats on becoming an aunt this Summer! I have five easy and fun tips on how to include the Daddy to be in the baby shower.
* Put cute framed photos of the expecting parents on each of the tables at the shower.
* Have the “Daddy to Be” open up all of the gifts with the “Mommy to Be”.
* Since the gifts are almost always for the new baby or the Mommy, surprise the soon to be Daddy with a pair of Daddy Scrubs. He’ll be so excited to have a cool gift to open that is for him, plus he can wear them the day his baby is born. Hunky Daddies like Antonio Sabato Jr. and Gilles Marini have been sporting them.
* Nobody knows the new Mommy better than the new Daddy, so ask for his input on designing the menu for the event. Let him help pick out his sweetie’s favorite snacks and dessert for the party.
* Suggest that the new Daddy make a special presentation to the new Mommy at the shower. He can read her a poem he wrote, sing her a song, present her with a special gift or just speak from the heart about how much he loves her and can’t wait to be parents together. This will be a very heartwarming moment at the shower.
* Have the Daddy to Be lead one of the shower games. Whether it be “Name that Tune” (songs with the word “Baby” in them), “Guess the Guests’ Baby Pictures” or “Guess What’s in the Candy-Poop Diaper” (men especially love this game!), the soon to be Daddy will have fun taking center stage at the party.
Have a blast at your sister’s shower Shari.”

FAB ideas! You’re sure to have SOOO much fun 🙂
