Wow, we really hope he means that, instead of capitalizing on the fact that a lot of people are upset that their opponents in this coming Super Bowl — the 49ers — have been plagued with anti-gay rhetoric and team members who don’t even know when they’re starring in pro-gay videos!
Our best course of action here is just to believe him!!
Terrell Suggs says the Ravens would welcome any gay teammate! Here’s what he said when asked if he’d have an issue with someone gay on the team:
“Absolutely not. We wouldn’t have a problem with it. We don’t care. Our biggest thing in the locker room is to just have fun and stay loose. We don’t really care too much about that. We’re a football team. I said it yesterday; everybody deserves a certain amount of privacy. Who cares? Whatever a person’s choice is, it’s their choice.”
While it’s not exactly a choice, we do respect what he’s saying!!
Wow, can you imagine a world where the LGBT community didn’t have to stay out of places and keep their identities hidden? Imagine all the people who would get to play sports they love while being open and free!
That would be the best future EVER!!!
