Uh-oh!
We guess someone has caught up on all her DVR’d episodes of The Carrie Diaries and is feeling like she shouldn’t have been so quick to give her “blessing!”
Now that the CW prequel to Sex & The City is well into its first season, original series star Sarah Jessica Parker is once again speaking out about watching the character she made into an icon during her teenage years, although this time, she’s not so much interested in giving her approval to AnnaSophia Robb or assuring herself that the story “is in excellent hands!”
In fact, in a recent interview, she threw some downright SHADE at what the show is doing to her legacy, as she responded when asked about it:
“I’m not sure. You know, I think it’s one of those tests of your generosity. She [Robb] is a lovely girl and I want her to feel good about it, but it’s├óΓé¼┬ªodd.”
We think some folks might need some ICE for that burn!
Seriously! OUCH!
Then again, we could have described the second Sex & The City movie the same way, so maybe everyone can all agree, once and for all, that the original series should have just been left alone!
But hey! We’re just glad Sarah didn’t single AnnaSophia with her criticisms, as we agree that she’s doing her job very well, even if the material isn’t as strong as some people would prefer!
