As far as memes go, “hey girl” is pretty much our favorite!
In fact, you could add Ryan Gosling to just about anything and it would be our favorite!
If McDonald’s McNuggets were shaped like his beautiful dome, we’d dip them in barbecue our special sauce and eat them by the handful!
Ryan, though, puts less stock in his own meme than his fans.
He admitted:
“I don’t think [the phenomenon] is really about me,. I think it really is sort of like, I’m a pigeon and the Internet is Fabio and it just happened.”
Whoa! He just randomly referenced the time a pigeon broke Fabio’s nose when it smashed into him on a roller-coaster!?
Ugh! Ryan knows all the cool pop culture references!! Be still our hearts!
We do have one bone to pick lick over one of the things he said, however.
Ryan also revealed:
“I’ve never said [“hey girl”] in my life.”
Hmmm, you suuuuure about that, hawtstuffz?
We recall history a bit differently, LOLz!!
Regardless, we can’t wait to see him kick ass in Only God Forgives!
