Beyoncé And Jay-Z's Cuban Vacation Being INVESTIGATED?! Republicans Think They Violated SANCTIONS To Travel There!

Uh-oh!
We guess this could actually be a pretty serious problem!
What was supposed to be a happy, fifth anniversary vacation to Cuba for Beyonc├â┬⌐ and Jay-Z has apparently prompted some serious backlash for the celebrity couple…and now, possibly even an investigation from the Obama administration!
That is, if two Florida Republicans have it their way!
As we’ve reported, questions have arisen over how Bey and Jay were allowed to travel to the communist country, which is illegal under the United States’ fifty-year old embargo on it, and Former House Foreign Affairs Committee chairwoman Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and her colleague Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart have now reportedly sent a letter to the Treasury Department├óΓé¼Γäós Office of Foreign Assets Control, requesting an investigation be opened to determine whether or not the pair violated any sanctions with their trip.
The letter reads:

We write to express concern and to request information regarding the highly publicized trip by U.S. musicians Beyonc├â┬⌐ Knowles-Carter (Beyonc├â┬⌐) and Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) to Cuba. We would like to respectfully request, within all applicable rules and guidelines, information regarding the type of license that Beyonc├â┬⌐ and Jay-Z received, for what purpose, and who approved such travel. […]
Cuba’s tourism industry is wholly state-controlled; therefore, U.S. dollars spent on Cuban tourism directly fund the machinery of oppression that brutally represses the Cuban people.
Despite the clear prohibition against tourism in Cuba, numerous press reports described the couple’s trip as tourism, and the Castro regime touted it as such in its propaganda.

Now, the only way for Americans to legally travel to Cuba is to be approved for a ├óΓé¼┼ôpeople-to-people licences,” AKA a visa that allows for educational or cultural exchanges between the countries!
It’s POSSIBLE that the Obama administration allowed them to go under such conditions, but obviously, this a problem, due to the nature in which the trip has been publicized!
