This is amazing, ridiculous, scary, and upsetting all rolled up into one hair ball!
A cat named Ginger broke free of its cage at the vet’s office and made a ridiculously long journey back home!
The 4-year-old traveled five freakin’ miles, and ten whole days to make it back home. Often it had to make its way through twisting roads filled to its asphalt neck with cars & trucks.
It’s a miracle it survived.
Here’s what the owner said:
“I thought I was seeing things. Not only has he made his own way home but he has done it in the hardest weather conditions. I am so happy and relieved to have him back.”
Here’s what the vet nurse said:
“It is very rare for a cat to make its way back after being so far away. He crossed some busy roads. I have never heard of anything like it before.”
Not only that, but how did it know to make it back home!
PLUS — the cat only has one eye.
That’s insane!
Let’s make a movie about this — stat!!!
