Boston Marathon Tragedy: Mark Wahlberg Wanted To Rush Home To His Kids

Mark Wahlberg is one of the most famous of celebrities to come from Boston, so any reporter or host wouldn’t be doing their job right if they didn’t ask him how he felt about Monday’s tragic and horrifying bombing.
He was on Jimmy Kimmel (above) promoting his new movie Pain & Gain, and here’s what he said:

├óΓé¼┼ôI just wanted to rush home today and hug my kids, and you know it├óΓé¼Γäós a crazy world that we├óΓé¼Γäóre living in. It├óΓé¼Γäós horrible ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it├óΓé¼Γäós horrible man. I just ask everyone to please pray for all the people in Boston and all their families, and especially the Richards family.”

He’s referring to 8-year-old victim Martin Richards, who was the first victim identified. The two others of the three casualties have also been brought to the public’s knowledge.
Luckily, Mark’s family back in Boston wasn’t hurt:

“but we have some people that we know that were affected by it, and you know, we have to do everything we can to help those families. And you know we obviously have to do everything we can to start protecting our women and children and people in our country … it’s crazy.”

We agree.
It’s just so awful to us that there are those out there that think killing other people is an okay thing to do. We just don’t understand how anybody can hurt others like that.
For more information on the whole ordeal, HERE‘s what we know.
Please donate blood. Donate time. Donate money. Boston needs us.
