Ann Curry is NOT happy with the ongoing drama with the Today show, and we can’t say we blame her!
Yesterday, Brian Stelter revealed a couple of nasty tidbits from his upcoming book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV and says the former anchor was bullied and mistreated in her finals days at the office!
Well a source is saying Ann feels “vindicated,” but is fed up with the drama:
“Ann would like to stop being a part of the Today ongoing soap opera. She feels that the negative publicity is hurting her work and gives NBC an excuse to keep her on ice.”
It├óΓé¼Γäós probably not helping either side to have both of their names associated to negative publicity, and apparently Matt Lauer and other Today show execs are trying really hard to get a copy of the book so they can get their stories straight before it’s released next week.
Ann Has still been doing some independent reporting for NBC news and even did an interview with a runner in the Boston Marathon earlier this week, but her story was done remotely over video chat as she is allegedly being kept from covering breaking news on the field.
We love a little drama just as much as the next person, but this is a little ridiculous! Especially from a NEWS program!
Seriously you guys, move on so Ann can get back to doing what she does best and the Today show can focus on the news like they’re supposed to!
