Reese Witherspoon 'Deeply Embarrassed' About Being Cuffed For Disorderly Conduct!

Reese Witherspoon is fessing up!
America’s sweetheart is apologizing for her COMPLETELY out of character behavior after her Friday arrest and short stay in the slammer for disorderly conduct with her intoxicated while driving hubby Jim Toth.
The Oscar-winning actress said:

“Out of respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything that is being reported right now. But I do want to say, I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. I have nothing but respect for the police and I’m very sorry for my behavior.”

We definitely respect a person that can admit when they are wrong AND refuses to bow their head in shame DESPITE the backlash.

We were worried this might become a habit, but something about this VERY sincere apology makes us believe this family woman won’t be seeing the inside of a jail cell for a looonnggg time.
