Following his drunk driving arrest two weeks ago, Kevin Hart took to Twitter to admit he was intoxicated behind the wheel and crack a few jokes about the situation, but following new developments, it’s clear the entire incident – which nearly resulted in him slamming his vehicle into a gas tanker truck – is NO laughing matter!
The comedian has been officially charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI by the El Lay City Attorney, as sources now reveal that when authorities pulled him over, he blew a .15 on the breathalyzer…AKA almost DOUBLE the legal limit!
And now because of it, he could be facing up to a year behind bars!
We imagine he’s thanking his lucky stars that this was his first offense, as he probably won’t end up with jail time, but still!
This is super SERIOUS! He could have seriously hurt himself or someone else…or WORSE!
We just he was serious on Twitter when he said this was a wake-up call, and he NEVER finds himself in this foolish predicament again!
