Victoria’s Secret Speaks Up About Accusations By The Former "Angel"

For being such Angels, Victoria’s Secret is having a lot of issues with their ladies!
Just when their Miranda Kerr drama got solved, the lingerie giant had to deal with their 2009 contest winner Kylie Bisutti.
The former model told the New York Post that she was encouraged to do things she wasn’t comfortable with, like flirting with men even though she was married.
In a new book that Bisutti is releasing, called I’m No Angel: From Victoria’s Secret Model to Role Model, she details more of her rocky relationship with the brand. But, the company has since released an official statement to combat her allegations.
Adding that they never actually gave her the official title of Angel, their statement read:

“Ms. Bisutti has made numerous fabrications and misstatements of fact regarding her brief association with Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós Secret. In 2009, Ms. Bisutti won an online amateur modeling competition and hasn├óΓé¼Γäót worked for us since that year. The prize for the winning contestant was the unique opportunity to a one-time walk in the 2009 Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós Secret Fashion Show.
Ms. Bisutti also participated in a swim photo shoot in 2009. That was the extent of Ms. Bisutti├óΓé¼Γäós involvement with Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós Secret. She was never a Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós Secret ├óΓé¼╦£Angel├óΓé¼Γäó as defined by the terms of our Angel model contract. And contrary to Ms. Bisutti├óΓé¼Γäós claims, she was never offered any subsequent modeling contracts or opportunities with Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós Secret despite her multiple appeals for further work. She has repeatedly fabricated her work experience with Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós Secret ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ including a relationship that simply did not exist.”

Ouchie! Sounds like someone might be a little bitter?
Then again, it’s always good to kick up a little controversy when you’re releasing a book! This will probably score her some extra sales.
