Holy delusional daydreams, Batman — who the heck would pay them that?!
Oasis split in 2009, but many fans still think the move was a ploy to generate buzz and even, with an eventual reunion tour, revenue.
Ill-tempered frontman Liam Gallagher is frankly sick and tired of that line of thinking; he insists the split with his brother Noel and the other boys has nothing to do with money at all!
In fact, he’s willing to prove it to you… if you write him a check for approximately $46 million US!
Wait, WHAT?!
Liam recently told Q Magazine:
“Listen, [a reunion will] happen when it happens, but it ain├óΓé¼Γäót a fucking game ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ it├óΓé¼Γäós the real deal. I read a lot of people going, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, it├óΓé¼Γäós just a blag, innit? So they can get some more noughts on their big fucking comeback.├óΓé¼Γäó But I├óΓé¼Γäóm still me and he├óΓé¼Γäós gonna be him… I ain├óΓé¼Γäót changing for a million fucking pounds. I might do it for ├é┬ú30 million.”
Oh, man — somebody totally needs a hug!!
Beyond that, we aren’t sure he should hold his breath for that kind of payday!! What record company or private benefactor would spend so much cash on squashing a sibling rivalry?!
But, hey, maybe Liam should take his troubles to Kickstarter!!!
If it works for Kristen Bell and Zach Braff, it could work for him!!
