Guess the 4/20-oriented coffee shop dreams will have to stay located in Amsterdam for now!
Because despite earlier comments made by Patrick Dempsey regarding the possibility of incorporating a little bit more, ahem, ‘herbal refreshment’ into his recently bought-up line of Tully’s coffee shops in Washington states, he now wants the world to know that he was merely practically joking!
If you don’t recall, Dr. McDreamy originally said:
“Coffee is good for your mind├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it’s basically a legalized drug. The next step is selling marijuana, of course. There’s a business model there. You could present it in a beautiful, elegant way: a Michelin-starred coffee shop where you can get marijuana.”
However, he now would like to clarify that:
“My comments about selling pot at Tully’s were obviously in jest. We are not selling pot but we do have a great triple shot latte.”
Hey! We’d say that’s more than a fair trade-off!
Just so long as you keep your word, get behind that counter and serve us up a nice hot cup of joe, boo!
Ideally, shirtless! Is that too much ask?!
