Well, he’s done it once again with Sunday night’s episode of Game of Thrones. For those who hadn’t read the author’s chapter on the “Red Wedding” yet were in for quite a brutal surprise when they tuned into HBO at 9 pm.
In fact, it was around 9:45ish pm when things started to get dangerously real. In fact, everyone, including celebs, were tweeting out their shock, horror, and disbelief during the events in the last 10 minutes.

The five stages of grief include Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance.
And, we experienced all those emotions within a span of about 30 seconds during the brutal slaughtering of the beloved Robb Stark his mother Catelyn Tully, his wife Tulisa, and their unborn child.
So, for now, all we have is the comfort of knowing that we weren’t the only ones suffering.
Stage 1: Denial
As soon as we heard the Rains of Castamere begin to play, we had the same doomed look on our face as Catelyn, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t hoping for a better outcome.
But, for a second, we thought, noooo, nooo this can’t be really happening, right??
Oooh, is that armor underneath Roose Bolton clothing? Ha.. ha… oh…… sheeeeeeeeez…
He’s just being overly cautious, right, guys?? RIGHT???
Stage 2: Anger
DID THAT JUST HAPPEN? OMFG DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?!?!?! OH HALE NOOOOO. TIME FOR REVENGE! KILL THE FREYS! AND LORD ROOSE BOLTON TOOOOOO!
Stage 3: Bargaining
This can’t be real. Right? “LOLz!” said George R.R. Martin! RIGHT?!?!?
But, this is mother and son! Arya was right outside!! HELP US!!
Stage 4: Depression
We know, Bran Stark. We know.
Stage 5: Acceptance
SO MANY FEELS!! For now, let’s just crawl into bed and look at Robb Stark carrying Grey Wind as a tiny direwolf pup.
RIP Catelyn, Robb, Talisa and Grey Wind. WE WILL NEVER TRUST YOU AGAIN, GRRM!
