O├óΓé¼┬ª M… G… this is waaaay too cute!!
At the Birmingham Zoo in Alabama, two cute baby red pandas were born and they don’t even look real! They look like stuffed animals!!
This is a big deal not only because they’re the first red pandas born in the U.S. this year, but they’re also a threatened species.
They’re listed as vulnerable, which is only one step above endangered, and that’s because there are fewer than 2,500 adult red pandas in the whole world!!
What’s even scarier is that red panda cubs have a 50% mortality rate, meaning only half ever survive!
So far, their momma has been taking excellent care of her babies so it looks like these cuties have got a good shot at making it!!
Go little cubs, go!!
