She calls it her “LegoLeg,” but we can’t understand why she wouldn’t just call it her LEGo! LOLz!
Christina Stephens‘ foot had to be amputated because she was rebuilding a car — and the car fell and crushed it. This happened just last year, and she truly is taking it head on (we’d say ‘in stride’ but that’s such a lame pun!) with the best kind of attitude!
She’s an occupational therapist and clinical researcher, and built the leg after someone jokingly told her to do it! Here’s what she said:
├óΓé¼┼ôChallenge accepted. I liked the idea, because I am very comfortable with my body and like encouraging others to be more comfortable with theirs.”
Honestly, the leg is rad, but what kept us around for the entire video (above) was her amazing personality! Such a badass, such an amazing outlook!
It’s too bad the leg isn’t super pratical, but she IS planning a Lego Leg 2.0 in the future! Check her out in action, you won’t regret it!
