2013 means a whole new Miley!
After she cut her hair late last year, we’ve seen a much different Miley Cyrus with more mature clothes, music, and even videos!
While most of it has been positive, she’s received some negative criticism on her short ‘do, but she defends her choice to chop it all off, claiming that it wasn’t a device to “change her life.”
She says:
“No one would have planned a haircut to change my life. I didn├óΓé¼Γäót plan a haircut to change my life. I just cut my hair and then it really changed my lfe. There├óΓé¼Γäós something about having no hair that it screams being confident. And I think especially because people like to put people in a box, I mean the names I├óΓé¼Γäóve been called since I cut my hair.
People think short hair, they think tom boy … and I├óΓé¼Γäóve obviously done the opposite ├óΓé¼╦£cause when I cut my hair, I did my first Maxim cover where I got No. 1 (in their annual hot list). And it wasn├óΓé¼Γäót about me being the sexiest. It was about the fans voting. But it├óΓé¼Γäós something I loved. I don├óΓé¼Γäót think I├óΓé¼Γäóve ever seen a Maxim cover with a girl with short hair.”
Say what you want about Miley, but she takes risks and we admire her 100% for not giving a shiz about what anyone else thinks!
