John Cena couldn’t be happier with his ongoing hair transplant results.
Over the weekend, the retired WWE star made an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con to promote his new project Matchbox: The Movie. Except his signature combover was nowhere to be seen… in its place was a fresh buzz cut! See (below):

You may remember the Fast and Furious actor went completely BALD earlier this year amid his ongoing hair loss treatments… Which he has a GLOWING update on!

While speaking to People at the fan event, John raved about undergoing not one but TWO hair transplants:
“The objective is to get more hair, and this was the best way to do it, talking with Ken Anderson, my doctor over there. I love the guy. He’s totally changed my life.”
The Bumblebee actor was SO impressed with Dr. Anderson’s work that he returned 15 months after his first procedure for round two to target a specific area:
“I went back to him like, ‘Man, you did great. I have this one small, small, small spot. Can you do it?’ He’s like, ‘I can. My best results are — if you’re bold enough to shave your head, I can keep the follicles.’”
And so that’s what he did!

John revealed Dr. Anderson can move with more speed and efficiency when a patient’s head is shaved:
“My first operation was 13 and a half hours. The second one was eight hours.”
Five hours is a LOT when you’re having a procedure done on your head! HA!
John went on to call Dr. Anderson “a master” before making note of his current short ‘do:
“I’m rocking this hair thing with the promise that he’s working. I have full trust and faith in him with this process.”
Good for him!
It’s too bad that fans bullied him about his bald spot, but we’re glad he’s boosting his self confidence in this way!
